Turmeric has flavoured South Asian cooking and featured in Ayurvedic tradition for thousands of years — long before “curcumin” had a name in a lab. We make Golden Paste the way it’s traditionally prepared: high-curcumin turmeric root, ground black pepper, and organic virgin coconut oil, gently cooked together. That combination isn’t a shortcut we invented — it’s the classic pairing, and we’ve kept it that way.

Not all turmeric is the same strength. Curcumin content varies by harvest, so we test and publish the percentage on every batch rather than just printing “turmeric” on the label and leaving it there.
