Launch of 2019 Turmeric Harvest
Today we launch our new batch of Turmeric which has an incredible 4.80% curcumin content.
This latest harvest is from some farms about 30km south of Karunapuram (our last batch) where the mineral content of the soil is greater, producing Turmeric with a higher curcumin content and noticeable by it's slightly darker colour.
After the 100 Storm in September last year we were unsure what stock would have survived and what the quality would be. Sure, the yields have been down for many farmers due to damaged land but as Tim found out recently, they are thankfully a resilient bunch.
